The Covid-19 Pandemic has caused many organizations to make drastic changes, and that is also the case for Project NENA. After Much consideration and feedback from our volunteers, community partners, and board members, Project NENA has had to make the tough decision to suspend our giving program for the first time in 8 years. The health of our volunteers and communities we serve is our number one priority and Project NENA has struggled to find a location for this year's program that would allow our volunteers and families to socially distance and feel safe. We also understand this is a hard time for all families, with many unforeseen challenges, and our hearts and prayers are with you all.
We look forward to working with our families and communities in 2021.
Project NENA ( Northeast Nashville Alliance ) is a non profit organization that partners with and assists under-served Northeast Nashville neighborhoods by providing a holistic and innovative approach to foster communities that are inclusive, restorative, and sustainable.
“It goes to show you that one person can make a big difference. Just one person. When you can take someone’s dream like that and it becomes contagious to others that are giving and get others involved ... there’s no end to what you can do for people. So that’s why when I heard about Project NENA ... I’m so happy to be a part of it and do anything I can and help spread the word,” – Jake Owen
